STATION DESIGN

Having descended into the vestibule of the station Sretenskiy Bul'var, the passenger gets into the light and bright space of the upper hall, made in the form of a circle, at an angle consisting of 4 escalators 79 meters long and stairs. ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION

Atmosphere of the vestibule creates a suspended ceiling design, consisting of a dense luminous grid, the cells of which are filled with colored metal details, as in a kaleidoscope. To the right of the escalators is another unusual element of decor - a colorful stained-glass window depicting playing children and the inscription Sretenskiy Bul'var.

This project was worked by the specialists of the architectural institute Metrogiprothans: chief architect Nikolai Ivanovich Shumakov and Natalia Viktorovna Shurygina.
