Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Metro Line

Myakinino Station

The first station of Moscow Metro to be set up outside the city precincts. Myakinino will be a ground-level station, it having been decided to incorporate it into the building of a multilevel car park in the grounds of Crocus City.

Volokolamskaya Station

Volokolamskaya is being engineered using the cut-and-cover technique in the area of Novotushinskaya Ulitsa. To render the station’s interior spacious and free, the column spacing has been increased to 9 metres. The station’s concourse will be over eight metres high. The exit will be sited in the grounds adjacent to 1st microregion of Mitino.

Mitino Station

Opening date:
2009

The Mitino Station will be engineered at the heart of the Mitino district at the junction of the Mitinskaya and Dubravskaya Streets. An unorthodox solution has been developed for the station’s lighting scheme: with spotlights placed behind the track wall, a three-dimensional pattern of shadows is superimposed on the ceiling. There will be two ramps for wheelchairs.
