Projects of underground construction
Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Metro Line
Maryina Roshcha
- Opening date:
- 2009
Work is in progress on the Maryina Roshcha Station, which is being engineered at a depth of 80 metres not far from the junction of Sushchevsky Val and Sheremetyevskaya Street. The massive columns that support its vaults will appear more slender because of the combination of dark and light stone used for decoration. The dark-brown granite and fawn-coloured polished flagged floor will merge the station’s interior scenes into a single whole.
- The station’s right-hand station tunnel (RST)
- Assembly of tunnel-boring machine (TBM) for engineering the station’s inclined tunnel
Dostoyevskaya station
- Opening date:
- 2009
The station is located deep under Suvorovskaya Ploshchad. Its interior scene is dominated by black-and-white tones. Dostoyevskaya has been named after the writer, who was born in this area of Moscow. Florentine mosaic murals, also in black and white, provide illustrations to the best-known works by Dostoyevsky.
- Excavation under station’s entrance lobby
- One of the station’s halls
- Rock-loading machine at the station
