Construction of Sretensky Bulvar Station Vestibule on Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Metro Line
In January 2009, the Construction and Installation Directorate No. 5, the subcontractor of OAO Mosmetrostroy started to build the concourse of the Sretensky Bulvar Station at Turgenevskaya Ploshchad. The primary objective at the first stage is to cut an inclined (escalator) tunnel to enable the construction of a passenger exit. Currently, the only exit available is through the stations Chistiye Prudy and Turgenevskaya. The exit from the station vestibule will have a direct connection to the pedestrian subway under Turgenevskaya Ploshchad, which already has the exit from the Turgenevskaya station. For two months between March and May, soil will be frozen to build the inclined tunnel.
