The first city stage of the professional skills competition among labor protection specialists has ended in Moscow. Within two days, 27 applicants for the title "Moscow Master-2021" demonstrated theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
According to the head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department, Sergei Lyovkin, the participants demonstrated high professionalism, because safety is extremely important in the implementation of construction projects.
The competition consisted of two stages: theoretical and practical. At the first stage, the contestants were tested on labor protection and the practical knowledge of providing first aid to victims at work was tested. The practical phase took place at the construction site.
According to the results of two days of competition, the metro builders showed excellent results: Evgeny Emelin from LLC “SMU-12 Mosmetrostroy” became the winner, and Dmitry Raspopov from JSC “Mosmetrostroy” closed the top three.
The competition is held in order to improve the quality of construction, increase the prestige of highly qualified labor of construction workers, and promote their achievements and best practices.
The organizers of the competition are the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, the MKPP Committee on Urban Planning Policy, Construction and the Building Materials Industry and the Moscow City Committee of the Territorial Organization of the Trade Union of Construction Workers and the Building Materials Industry.
