LLC Tunnel-2001 appeared as part of the Moscow metro building on February 5, 2001. Initially, the organization specialized in the construction of tunnels with a diameter of over six meters with mechanized shields. Over the years, many large projects have been implemented. This includes building 23 metro tunnels with a total length of over 34 km, including 9,3 km over the past 5 years, commissioning the station complexes Troparevo and Lefortovo. The company is responsible for the construction of the Serebryanoborsk tunnels, recognized as unique in their engineering design, as well as participation in the construction of the Observation Deck in the structures of the cable-stayed bridge across the Moskva River.
Over the past years, Tunnel-2001 has also participated in the construction of the Krasnopresnenskaya highway, the Stroginskaya metro line, in the arrangement of ramps at the intersection of Marshal Zhukov Avenue with the Moscow Ring Road, in the construction of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line, protective structures of St. Petersburg against floods, Zamoskvoretskaya, Sokolnicheskaya, Kozhukhovskaya, Kalininskaya and Solntsevskaya metro lines, as well as the northeastern and southern sections of the Big Circle.
Over the 20 years of its existence, Tunnel-2001 has not only become one of the leading divisions of Mosmetrostroy, but has also earned authority and an impeccable reputation among the country's tunnel community. Today the company is confidently moving along the chosen path, achieving high production indicators, and many professional awards both in industry competitions and personally from employees are a vivid confirmation of this.
