By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 271 dated April 16, 2020 “On Awarding with State Prizes” for achieved labor successes and many years of conscientious work, the Order of Honor awarded Oleg Melnikov, Deputy General Director of JSC Mosmetrostroy.
Oleg Nikolaevich began his career in the construction of the metro in 1981 in the Construction and Installation Department № 6 of Metrostroy as an electric welder in underground work at the Serpukhovskaya station. Without interruption from production he graduated from the Moscow Order of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of Transport Engineers named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky (MIIT).
Since 1993, he has consistently held positions from the foreman to the chief engineer of the Special Works Department at Mosmetrostroy. In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer, Head of the Production Department at JSC Mosmetrostroy. Since 2011 - Deputy General Director of JSC Mosmetrostroy.
Oleg Nikolaevich took part in the construction of more than thirty Moscow metro stations and other facilities. Including the construction of an infectious disease center in New Moscow. Currently oversees the extension of the Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line to the north of the capital.
