In 2020, marks 75 years since the Victory of the Soviet Union in World War II. The terrible trials that befell the Soviet people lasted 1,418 days. They touched every family, every person. From 1941 to 1945, the war claimed the lives of 27 million Soviet people. The victory over fascist Germany was not easy. Heroic stamina and will, desire for justice and a desire to free our native land from invaders at any cost helped.
Today, there are very few participants in the war and eyewitnesses. But the memory of the Great Victory is alive in us, in the stories of our grandparents. We invite readers of Metrostroevts to share stories about the deeds of your loved ones, who stood on the defense of the Fatherland in 1941-1945.
Send stories of heroes with their photos to the address: 1770 Tsvetnoy Boulevard, Moscow, 127051, or e-mail: email@example.com. All of them will be published.
