In early January, the technical launch of six metropolitan metro stations took place at once: two on the Big Circle Line and four on the Nekrasovskaya.
“On January 2, the main work on the new metro line was completed - 12 km from “Kosino” to “Lefortovo”. This is a very important area, which will improve the transport prosperity of a million residents of Moscow and Moscow region. During three months, commissioning and testing will be carried out, in March, passengers will already travel on this line”, - said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin to a journalist.
The length of the section from “Kosino” to “Aviamotornaya” is 11.7 km. There are five stations on it: "Yugo-Vostochnaya"; "Okskaya"; "Stakhanovskaya"; "Nizhegorogskaya"; "Aviamotornaya". The length of the adjoining section of the BCL from “Aviamotornaya” to “Lefortovo” is 2.7 km long. The opening of the second section of the Nekrasovskaya line from the “Kosino” station to “Aviamotornaya” is planned for March this year.
