The annual amateur fishing competition was held on August 24 among the employees of Mosmetrostroy, trade union members. More than 40 participants gathered in competitions near the village of Minino. Fishing has been organized for the fourth time.
Fish was fished from the shore in the so-called wild way on a pond specially designated for visitors. You could catch pikes, perches, carps, crucian carp, catfish, trout and carp.
At ten in the morning threw the first fishing rods and spinning rods. Seven hours later, they began to evaluate the size and quantity of production. Winners were traditionally determined in two categories: the largest fish and the largest total catch.
The first cup went to Nikolai Grishankin from SMU-9 for a 67-cm pike. The reward for the largest catch of 28 kilograms was received by Alexander Velichko from Metrogiprotrans. He has won the competition for the second year in a row.
Participants who were not lucky enough to catch the inhabitants of the reservoir on a hook did not go home empty-handed. The Terkomhs of the trade union who organized the competition handed each one live and smoked fish to each. A horse farm and a forest are located not far from the pond, so the fisherman’s families did not get bored - they rode horses and went mushrooms.
