August 29, 2018, the opening of the northern lobby of the station "Verhnie Likhobory" of the Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow metro. It is located on Dmitrovskoye Highway and has exits to Beskudnikovsky Boulevard, Dubninskaya Street, as well as to stop points for land transport and St. Innocent's Church.
The construction of the "Verhnie Likhobory" was initially complicated by severe geological conditions at a depth of 60-65 meters. The route passed under the river Lihoborka. For water-saturated soil, metro-constructers required the use of special methods, including use of chemicals for soil, based on the injection of two-component resins into the array, and micro-cementation, which reduces the water cut of the rocks.
We recall that the station was opened on March 22, 2018 as part of the 2nd launch complex of the Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. This site became one of the most labor-consuming in the history of the state metro construction. At the time of the launch of the station, only one exit operated, leading to Verkhnelikhoborskaya and Dubninskaya streets.
The station is decorated with granite of black and gray tones, as well as white and multicolored marble with gray, red and coral blotches. The main element of the central hall is a metric series of fixtures accentuating the plastic of the ceiling finish.
In the future, the station "Verhnie Lihobory" is planned to be included in the same transport interchange node, providing pedestrian communication with the platform "NATI" of the October Railway.
